Adjudicators will present this special award at every session to a the performance of their choice.

One of our judges will present Special Awards at each of our session awards with a ribbon for all called upon.

Choreography Awards (Judges Choice)
Choreography Awards will be presented to the Stand Out choreography in the Novice, Level 1. Level 2 choreography will be presented in the following Age Divisions Tot/Mini, Junior, Teen & Senior.
Novice Awards:
Note: To be eligible for Overalls a studio must has a min. of 5 routines registered.
Highest Mark Overall Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Mini, Junior, Teen & Senior age divisions & Entry Divisions (eg. solo, duet/trio/small group. large group). Cash awards are awarded to 1st place.
Note: There must be a minimum of five routines entered in each age division/entry for the trophy and scholarship to be awarded. Soloist with more than 1 routines will only be awarded for their top mark. If not enough entries, ages/divisions may be merged.
Novice Top Mark of the Competition:
Overall Novice Group of The Weekend
Level 1 Awards :
Note: To be eligible for Overalls a studio must has a min. of 5 routines registered.
Highest Mark Overall Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Tot/Mini, Junior, Teen & Senior age & entry divisions. Cash awards are awarded to 1st place.
Note: There must be a minimum of 5 routines entered in each age division/entry for the trophy and scholarship to be awarded. Soloists who place more than once will only be awarded for their top score. If there are 5 or more entries Tot & Mini will be separated to their own High Score Award.
Level 1 Top Mark of the Competition: (Pre-Competitive)
Top Level 1 Studio: Overall Average of all 3 groups in different genres, highest score will be presented with a Trophy and cash award
Note: There must be a minimum of 20 entries for cash award to be presented
Level 2 Awards: (Full Competitive)
Note: To be eligible for Overalls a studio must has a min. of 5 routines registered.
Top Solos and Title Winners
Top Scores for solos in each age division will be recognized in the Level 2 category. The 1st Place solo in each age division will be receive the honour of Title Winner. Soloists with more than 1 routines will have their top scoring routine considered.
Note: 5 or more entries are required for cash scholarship and for Title to be awarded, Age categories may be merged.
Level 2 Overall Awards:
Highest Mark Overall Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Mini, Junior, Teen & Senior age & entry divisions. Cash awards are awarded to 1st place. (Duet/Trio, Small Groups, Large Groups, Lines)
Note: There must be a minimum of 5 routines in each age division/entry division for the trophy and scholarship to be awarded. If age or entry are mergec the cash scholarship will not be awarded.
Level 2 Highest Average Mark of The Competition: Top Studio – Victory Trophy.
This will be awarded to a Top Studio. (The Average of the Top 5 group numbers for each studio in different genres) determine the winner of TOP STUDIO. A special trophy and cash award to 1st place. 1st, 2nd & 3rd will be announced (dependent on # of entries)
Note: A Studio must have a minimum of 8 competitive level 2 group routines and a total of 20 routines or more registered. If a tie occurs each with receive a trophy and the cash award will be split.
Top Mark Production:
The Highest Mark for a Production will receive a Trophy and Cash Scholarship. All productions from all Levels are eligible. There must be 2 or more productions in the competition. In the event of a tie both will receive trophies and the cash scholarship will be split.
Top Mark Advanced:
The Highest Mark for all Advanced Level Dancers (not eligible for overalls)
Top Mark Pro-Am
The Pro-Am routine with the highest mark is awarded a Trophy & Cash Scholarship
Note: There must be 5 or more Pro-Am routines in order to be awarded.
Top Mark Adult:
The Adult routine with the highest mark is awarded a Trophy
Note: There must be 5 or more Pro-Am routines in order to be awarded.
Discipline Top Marks. A Tii Medallion will be awarded to top marks in each discipline (a minimum of 5 routines for each discipline required). Awarded to Level 1 & Level 2
Destined to Succeed- This will be awarded to a dancer that does not win an overall high score in solo/soloist category and the judges feel that they should be recognized as a strong, hard working dancer.
Scholarships – Exciting Scholarships (judges choice)
This Is It Competition reserves the right to adjust cash payments in relation to number of entries.This year at This Is It the adjudicators’ comments will be collected by Video Judge. Each studio will receive a secure log in to Video Judge online as well as a copy of all of their performances on DVD with the adjudicators’ comments.
